Cracking the code for creating engaging video content, starting with how to make and edit vidoes, is proving to be a big challenge. At least for this video creator! But the truth is, nearly all businesses and certainly most digital content creators need to (yes, eventually) embrace videos and add them to their content wheelhouse.
So welcome to the world of video creation as an integral part of your marketing and content strategy, like it or not. The staggering video consumption statistics hitting us left and right aren’t very surprising to the creator community, if you’re paying any attention at all. Mixed media for blogs, social, and marketing in general is what we’ve been advocating for years now. This isn’t new news.
But maybe, if your superpower isn’t wrapped around how to make and edit videos, you’re like me and feeling the struggle. It’s real. It’s starting to hurt. Even after years of attempting to make and edit valuable videos for people and projects, it’s harder than ever.
And damn it anyway, in 2024, I’m diligently attempting to finally meet the challenge. But at nearly halfway through the year, I’m pretty sure the challenge feels steeper and harder. Am I even making any progess? On some days, I just want to give up. (That’s not very like me, though, not at all!)
Then Hope Arrived for Easy Video Creation
I was getting a little stuck in my head and rethinking so much of what I’m doing this year. Figuring out how to optimize my YouTube channel to promote and distribute The Marketing Mirror Audio/Video Podcast is central to my content strategy. It’s the first time video even made it into the strategy!
What can I say, I’m a writer! Luckily, writing is at the center of most content. Video content is no different.
Time to level up and try to crack the code to producing engaging video content. But, there’s another kicker— consistent quality content needs to be the standard. Yikes.
And the final blow. What I want to produce, I’m still not exactly capable of, at least near the level necessary for a hot and hopping channel.
Suddenly I remembered I grabbed this new editing software a little while ago but hadn’t checked it out yet. And that’s when I began discovering the wonders of Create Studio. A new (to me, anyway) video creation and editing software. And wow, after playing around with it and watching a few introductory videos, I was feeling excited and inspired.
I’m so happy with all the features and new ideas I’m having to use in work in the Create Studio 3.0 video creation environment. These screenshots show you some of the comprehensive lists of available features:
Everything you explore takes you deeper into the library of content assets in store for you to use, adjust, and create for complete customization.
Create Studio Brings It to Make and Edit Videos!
The first thing I like is the ease of organizing your project’s media, as well as, the ability to create folders for “global media” housing your reusable assets. Keeping your most used visuals, like logos, intro/outro videos, etc. all housed in one orderly place is so nice. Plus, you can use folders to make it even easier to find what you need fast when you need it.
Moving to the “rocket tab,” you’ll find your “studio” in Create Studio and the real fun begins. It’s in here that things start to get really juicy and you may feel like you’re dropping into “the looking glass” with so much to explore.
You’ll find so many things in each category, but even more are revealed via dropdowns and sub-categories.
There are still images, which you can animate and adjust in a bunch of ways along with pre-done video clips, some include perfect sound effects and dialogue, ready to use as-is or manipulate as you prefer.
Express Yourself Using Create Studio Features
Bring your favorite or most-used emojis to life in your videos for a fun element.
There’s so much flexibility here and more and more to discover in the extras as you go. But also, the editing process is simplified so once you get the hang of things, it gets easier and faster to work with in unending ways.
I love the “YouTube tab” that gives you various subscribe request effects like the cool YouTubers have… now you can too! Nanana
Some of the functions on the studio dash, like the typewriter, just drag over to your project but, once again, you still have further control over font size, style, and more in the features settings.
The next tab is “scenes” and you can scroll on and on or use the dropdown or search options to limit your picks. Try out 3D backgrounds, add your own, or customize something from the vast selections for a new look. Use search to narrow down what you see or for a specific requirement. Click all around … is my best advice!
In addition to scenes galore, “backgrounds” is another library to set the scene, found under the previous, “studio” tab. You may want to mark some of your favorite selections by clicking the heart, making it easier to find them when you’re ready to use them.
Are you seeing why I’m so happy to make and edit videos suddenly? Create Studio has a lot to offer and so so many cool effects, clips, animations, and more to offer for a much more rounded video library of assets. More than any other video editng software so far!
Edit Videos to Customize Everything to Suit Your Style
The “studio tab” in Create Studio gives you unending options to create any feeling or style you want. You can warm up your videos and connect more genuinely with the people you serve. Get more creative with effects and designs you couldn’t pull off before. Have fun with it! (To me, that always makes work easier.)
But my best advice for this one, is “push the buttons.” What I want you to do is test and try things. Experiment. You may find (as I did) that perusing all the options brings inspiring ideas for creating videos.
Somehow, it brings a little more confidence. Maybe the ease-of-use and professional-looking inventory of usable assets helps you know you can create things like the cool kids on YouTube. Still, your brand, brand style, marketing, and content reflect you and your business, and you want to have the ability to make things your own. And that, dear reader, is possibly what I love the best.
Customization is available in a variety of ways to conjure a unique spin and project a professional video presentation, no matter your needs. Further, you can craft and edit videos with ease, making the job go smoother for you. I think with practice, it’s going to go faster.
